Joel and Janis

Joel and Janis Joplin somewhere in Canada Festival Express train tour.

The Trident was very good to me in many interesting ways. I met Janis Joplin at the Trident, and among other things, she hired me into her Full Tilt Boogie band. Later I met David Crosby at the Trident and lived with him on Greenwood Way in Mill Valley, 1972 – 1980.

I also toured with Crosby Stills and Nash as Dave’s personal assistant.  The best part of all this is remembering all the lovely ladies I spent time with there. I loved the Trident.

I worked at the Trident from 1974 to 1976 when it was temporarily closed before reopening almost a year later with a new crew & menu. The era covered here is 1966 to 1980 when the Trident was "Magic!" Mark Danforth Lomas 805.845.2888 MDLomas@gmail.com
